Hole in one!
Most unusually the day was dry. So we decided to try to get on with a job which has been sat waiting since the autumn. Way back then we had seen a local nursery with a good selection of dwarf conifers. We paid them a visit, followed by a deal of money and came away with a car full of conifers.
They have stood in pots on the patio waiting for a) a time when the Lodge was empty and b) the day was dry. Today was the day. While there I needed a blip not having taken any shots. I was surprised to see the miniature Daffodils coming through, they are usually well behind the "normal ones". The I spotted this one determined to get its share of the light having found a hole in one of the beech leaves which cover their bed.
