Sights from my Bike Ride
We broke a record for high temperature on this date. It got up to 76 F with a bright sunny sky. I dressed in layers for my ride and spent the next 2 hours shedding them! I rode 30 miles, mostly on dirt roads through farmland. It was mostly deserted and nothing is growing now so I could see for miles. It was wonderful! When I got back to town I was going to circle a nearby lake but there were so many people walking on the path that it looked like a parade. There were lots of people on kayaks and two bikini clad girls on paddle boards (upper right). There is still ice on parts of lake. I hope they remained upright!
I have added a screenshot of the weather app on my phone today. See what it says for tomorrow? We are expecting a 52 degree temperature drop in the next 24 hours along with the snow. Gotta love Colorado!
I am grateful that Trixie (my bike) and I didn't get hurt when we slipped on some loose dirt and landed on the ground! I was slowing to a stop to take some photos when her wheel slipped so we just kind of tipped over. So glad no one was around to see it!!
