Snow line

Somewhere between landscape photo and an Andy Goldsworthy-esque sculpture, my eye was caught by this, seemingly a split or crack in the blanket of snow covering the countryside now.
My walk this afternoon was extra refreshing, due to the wind chill which bordered on uncomfortable... eyes squinting, fingertips frozen. Even the camera briefly 'froze'. Otherwise the loan D600 is proving to be a superb camera offering everything I need in a dslr. I'll have to start saving or prep the credit card!
