The Big One

Went on a decent 4 hour outing today which involved a healthy walk in the snow. Many many photo opportunities were seized including a snowman with a very small head sitting on a bench....he nearly made blip....but the view he was looking at didn't help his chances :-\

It is still super icy out. I saw a sorry looking car which someone had crashed another vehicle into, apparently as they had come sliding down a steep hill, wrecking the wheel, tyre and front wing of the parked car- well that's how it appeared. I can only hope someone left a note but it didn't look that way :-(

A bit further along there was a lady in a BMW trying to get up a very icy hill but she was just spinning her wheels and revving wildly meaning that all the pedestrians were keeping a distance rather than trying to help as it didn't look safe to get near to her. One old man nearby said, "I blame the pilot!"

This evenings activities include some study and baking an orange cake...I just cannot resist. Worrying about traveling tomorrow will NOT kick in till about 11pm- honest!
