Squares

I was fairly wedded to my laptop today, whether at the kitchen table, on the sofa, or with my feet propped up on this chair. I liked all the little squares of computer keys, screen icons, and patchwork.

D. stayed home from school again today, but is well on the mend and should go back tomorrow. I. had a late afternoon meeting with her debate team, which my husband helps coach, so he brought her home. Which means that apart from driving I. to school this morning, I haven’t been outside all day. It’s been unremittingly grey out and I’ve been productive indoors, so I haven’t had cabin fever...until now, when it’s pitch black and the day has slipped past.
