The snow did just as they said it would for us today in the South East - it began at 9am and is only just easing leaving us with a fresh 6cm of the white stuff.

I love it and we ventured out - me in different boots- ostensibly to get some crumpets for tea, but really to enjoy its beauty and crunchiness under foot. Even discovered roads not travelled before.

Our local store was busy and it seems so long as we have food and fuel, life will carry on.

Back in the warm now and the crumpets were delicious with honey!
