Braes
Up and off down to East Kilbride this morning.
I'm leading a Ramblers walk next Wednesday that starts and ends at the National Museum of Rural Life, and passes through Carmunnock before we do a loop around Cathkin Braes Country Park. Today I was doing the recce for that, and a very muddy one it was too!
It was a grey day, but not too cold, and it stayed dry, which is always a bonus. My Blip was taken from one of the viewpoints at Cathkin Braes, looking north over Glasgow towards the Campsie Fells. The distinctive shape of Dumgoyne can easily be seen.
Managed to get a bowl of soup and a coffee back at the Museum and out in time to avoid the traffic on the road back home. Result!
