Angel's trumpet

I think this is a kind of Brugansia tree, aka Angel's Trumpet. The flowers are impressively huge... and apparently rather poisonous. I've seen these flowering in spring before but never midwinter.

I only had a very short walk today as my hip is feeling a bit achy when I walk... but I did have a good swim at the pool, which was painless.

In the evening went to a presentation of G's new poetry collection at the new publishers, which was very successful - well organised and quite well attended.
