House Sparrow

Another cold day threatening snow, but none arrived! After our very active day yesterday we have had a quiet day, just pottering, ironing, and packing for our few days away. Had a visit from C who stayed for dinner, and we tried very hard to capture some birds at the feeder, but didn't have much luck. They seem to know when to stay away. Our little robin was about during the day but I was not lucky with my shots. However, I caught this little sparrow, not the most colourful of birds perhaps, but a lovely little thing nevertheless.

Will be away and unable to blip for the next few days, but will catch up when I get back. Stay warm and happy, all you blippers.
