Loch Venachar Cafe

After dancing class in the morning and lunch at home, we travelled through to Callander en route to Aberfoyle where we are staying for the next few days with our ceilidh friends, about one hundred of them.

We stopped at the Venacher Cafe on Loch Venacher, and had a coffee. The cafe commands such beautiful views of the loch and also looking up to Ben Venue. It was quiet on a Monday afternoon and we dawdled over our coffees.

Then on to Aberfoyle and our hotel, where we checked in in time for a wee rest before dinner. And after dinner an evening of ceilidh and country dancing.

It was an enjoyable day!
