Put Your Hands in the Air

I had some free time today and I've been dying to get out and look for some pics.  I drove to Detroit and spent some time in the Detroit Institute of Arts.  Got some amazing pics but not my main blip.  When I was leaving I decided to visit the Public Library across the street where I found today's image.

The Mural is called "Man's Mobility 1905-1965-1855" by John S. Coppin

I just love the way it sits in the space.

The extra is a mind blowing coincidence.  In a DIA exhibit on Italy I found a painting of the Roman Forum. The top painting in the extra was done in 1735! I took the bottom photo during our trip last April.
