Heading West

A trip over the Pennines to Cumbria for the weekend. We are staying in an Airbnb cottage in Dovenby near Cockermouth.

We left Yorkshire shrouded in mist and emerged into sunshine. The conditions were breezy but didn’t deter us from having lunch at Catlerigg stone circle above Keswick. Then decided on a lower level walk along the shores of Crummock Water. You get an indication of the breeze with the waves on the lake. 

Not sure what the weather might bring tomorrow or Sunday but today was worth coming across for.
