Top of the Pile

With dire warnings of the approaching storm we decided to give Parkrun a miss in favour of an early start. 

We planned a walk over Rannerdale Knots but when Richard was blown over and Jets ears were horizontal we decided a walk round Buttermere would be a better option. Lots of other people had a similar idea. A number choosing to run the circuit.

Had to brave the elements this evening for a birthday meal for Richard. Very glad to return without incident as it is blowing a hooley now!
