Fun day at work. First I said hello to my small Geranium plants. They have grown quite a bit now! I gave them some water and then asked R to check on them at closing time, to see if they needed more water to get through the weekend.
I've also planted cuttings and got a mosquito bite. Yes... we have a mosquito in the greenhouse, in February... And, of course i had to draw blood from me.
I also did what was planned regarding the super cute tulip pots: if a customer comes in asking for tulips, tell them about this instead. Our tulips arn't fully grown yet. The customers gladly followed me to greenhouse one, the cooler, and thought the pots were really lovely. They got one at first, but when I started to put them in our larger room, she came back for one more. Yes! :)
Then we had a little challenge... there're Swedish candy, small car shaped soft candy in three colours. Earlier in the week we talked about these cars and which colour was the tastiest. Today the challenge was to see if we could tell the colour from the taste. We all stood around a table, closed eyes and got a 'car' in our hand from a coworker. Taste, guess and repeat. I was so certain on my answer, and I was so wrong! I didn't get one right!! But, it was fun and we had a laugh! Fortunately no customer arrived when we were playing! :)
