Romanesco flowers

It's been rather a dull day and I spent most of it going through photos and music.  I did venture out to the allotment before the strong winds forecast for the weekend arrive.  There wasn't much to photograph but I chose this Romanesco plant that I should have picked a bit earlier but I may leave it to see how the flowers develop.

Its our daughters due date today but not surprisingly there isn't much sign of arrival.  Apparently very few are own on their due date.  She seems fairly comfortable though so I think he will be waiting a bit longer before heading out into this world.
