It was a gorgeous day in Cockermouth but I was entombed so did a quick dash out to see the outside world. The sheer volume of meat here made me feel a bit ill but I’ve noticed the name before and it makes me smile every time I see it.

My friend and I decided to have our Friday snifter at the Queen’s Head for a change, sat by a very cosy fire.
