Chester FC 2 Blyth Spartans 1

Chester made heavy weather of beating Blyth Spartans this afternoon but a win is a win. The visitors were 2nd from bottom and played most of the 2nd half with 10 men and while Chester deserved to win it wasn't a pretty game. In fairness the start of Storm Ciara didn't help proceedings but all in all it was an instantly forgettable game.

The sponsors Man of the Match was Joel Taylor which I though was the right choice.
