Taking a bath

The baby, my friend Barbara and I went to the Botanic Garden today on a photography field trip. We kept missing the rest of the group. I believe this is a wood duck. Whatever, it is, it was so gorgeous with so many colors. This is the best of a somewhat mediocre lot.

The baby squeals with delight at the ducks and had an even better time standing on the deck over the koi pond and dancing while watching the koi. Later she had a wonderful time exploring a very wide cinder block bath. Earlier we went to church and she sang all the way thru the service.

Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, interesting sermons, joyful singing and beautiful flowers.
