Mara steals the cat toy

Mara and I spent the day reorganizing the living room from baby care to a toddler space with a baby sized table, toy and clothes bin and converting her small baby chair from a bouncy seat to a toddler rocker. She isn't quite walking yet, but she will walk 2-3 steps if she is busy doing something else. So it was time for the change.

Well, Mara spent her time trying to get the cat toy out of the cat scratcher. She finally succeeded and had a wonderful time with the crinkly cellophane ball she obtained.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, Helen the white typing assistant cat on my lap and purring right now, the baby and her momma and a day that was so relaxing and easy.
