What a day ......

And night ...... Said storm arrived and the wind blew, the rain beat against the windows which woke me and the rest of the morning was very wild.  The jazz concert we were going to in Shrewsbury at lunchtime was cancelled but there was a little bit of a lull in the afternoon.  However there's been quite a lot of damage done locally with trees down and power supplies failing.  Hope all of you everywhere have fared ok and kept safe.

I have a Birthday soon #1 daughter popped round with card pressie and some beautiful Irises.  There's one in extra.
