MonoMonday: Looking In.........

.........to the depths of Megalong Creek.

On New Years Day I blipped the dry creek bed.
After 424ml of rain over the last few days it is now transformed. 
Yesterday our neighbour sent us the extra image. Soon afterwards it actually topped the 2metre mark at the causeway. You can see the markers on either side of the road at the far end of the main picture.
It is amazing how quickly it comes up (with very heavy rain in Katoomba) and then goes down again. 
We were able to cross it this afternoon but I was disappointed I missed seeing it at its height.
