525 years of age today.

Today my Alma Mater celebrates its 525th birthday.

In 1495,  Pope Alexander VI issued a Papal Bull to support  Bishop Elphinstone's vision for Aberdeen to have a University that was "open to all and dedicated to the pursuit of truth in the service of others".
