These days our political masters are obsessed with borders, be they soft, half-boiled or hard. Not to be outdone we have divided the village into North and South Newburgh-on-Ythan; this is the official crossing point.

Yesterday ended rather badly. Our garden gate and a fence panel took to the skies as Ciara blew herself out. Then I tripped on one of the mantraps that our Council provide on the village pavements. Luckily I fell on my rib cage rather than my head. All that I can do is offer up my suffering!
