And then the snow
It snows all day. Damp, heavy, transient snow.
I break for a late lunch break and discover an appointment at the Bush. The car is partially charged, the roads are partially clear. I get there on time, plug into a handy charging station.
It snows heavily during the meeting. When I emerge, the traffic is being managed by the police. It’s at a standstill. In both directions. Forty five minutes later I turn around, weave through the estate, and make it out onto the A702.
The snow is falling thicker than ever, as night falls. I crawl slowly home, finally getting home with 1% showing on the battery.
Light the fire. Turn the heating off in the office. Lock the chooks up. Have a cuppa with Nick. Relax.
