Bleak and blurry.

As the day progressed it got colder and by the time I got home it was rather bleak with a partly clear sky and darkness falling.

The day started well, my van was due at the garage to diagnose and repair a squealing sound. Turned out to be a stone stuck between the break disc and back plate which was solved with a screwdriver picking it out.

Then, due to the wind direction, I was able to burn a large pile of debris I'd generated last week. Cleared ivy from a field maple then continued pruning the apple trees.

I was pleased to be home and lighting the wood burner
