Blowing in the wind

A miserable, wet, windy, cold day. Just the day for the occasional rant!

Helium balloons! What could possibly be wrong with releasing lots of helium balloons tied together into a cheerful bundle? Well, to start with, to do so is to litter and littering is illegal. Secondly cows, turtles and other sundry creatures can choke on them. They look pretty when released but they look a lot less pretty when deflating and wrapped around a barbed wire fence, where they will remain until they slowly rot away, spoiling the view of the local dung pile..
