Blue monday

His attempts at looking disappointed when I came to pick him and his sister up mid-morning from school were less than convincing. Even when he covered up his eyes there was still something giving him away.

I got them in Ok which meant that there were thirty kids in school today but it was a bit of an adventure and the car went off on its own route a couple of times. So, with the snow continuing to come down it was decided that in another six hours the road might be even more dangerous and so we brought them home. No work will be done today.

Got the kids home to find out my brother-in-law had an accident on the motorway on his way down to that London. He's Ok fortunately and is making his way back home on the train but the car will be in hospital for a while. Be careful out there.
