Monday: War Memorial Gym

I worked from home today but headed to UBC late morning to record a podcast on a range of issues.  The host, Joshua, was very pleasant so it felt like an easy conversation.

On my walk back to the car I passed the War Memorial Gym, opened in 1951.  It’s hosted a number of sports over the years but is principally home to the Thunderbirds, UBC’s basketball team.

I’m on a short trip tomorrow and it completely slipped my mind, until relatively late, that I would have to pack.  That could have been awkward.
