Strange bird

Only noticed this in the beach parking lot as there was a service truck moving from one lightpole on down the line, and it was next.  Bet it's not there tomorrow  . . .   hadn't noticed it before either.

Rainy yesterday - all day - and today has showers blowing thru with brilliant sunshine in between.   Got rained off the beach this morning as did the wedding photographer, but quickly took these extras:

1.   Lots happening here - the swimmer doing stretches before going in, a family of three behind him taking phone photos ( . . . leads into extra2), a model walker,  the wedding couple with photographer and assistant, and -  a pigeon hoping for a handout.

2.    Everyone in the family had their phone out and especially Dad was concentrating on the run-up at his feet.   Yep, it continued coming up and everyone was slow to react, ending up with wet feet.   From my angle down the beach, the wedding couple obscured that shot.

3.    The swimmer, having finished his exercises, took to the water, swimming laps.   Perfect form.
