Fire!

We weren’t able to have our annual new year bonfire this year as it was too wet and windy then.... but today it’s dry and calm and lovely so the pyromaniac and the worker spent a good many hours burning the piles of brush etc, including lots of rotten pieces of decking that was replaced last summer, that we have been collecting since summer.   Bad job done.   The flames were lower once we got to the bigger stuff but I liked how the fire looked with the iPhone.  Can’t do it in the dark as the ground is very uneven and unsafe with places that are sinking.   There is underground water in this spot...which is a good thing so we don’t worry that the fire will spread under the ground like it can.   

Extra....the worker with the last load., just before dark with his headlamp on and glass of wine and a chair.  ..( the pyromaniac got to retreat to her studio finally)
