The Famous Oak Tree

We’re here in Yosemite for our winter treat, hoping to ski /snowshoe tomorrow. It doesn’t seem much like winter though—more like too early spring. Bushes in the meadow are beginning to bud out, and there are sweet breezes. The sun is just about to disappear behind the hills.

I’ve probably taken hundreds of pictures of this oak tree over the years. Me and everyone else who comes through here! I’ve always wanted to go back and find all the other shots, especially from years ago when the tree was more robust.  It would be an interesting sequence, but I’ll probably never get to it.
