Doubtful Sound

Superlatives reached an all time high today with a wonderful trip to Doubtful Sound. It's taken a long time to choose a shot. Even the tour guides were excited by the perfect weather we enjoyed. We were picked up at 9.30am, then a 30 minute coach ride to Mannipouri where we boarded a catamaran for a 50 minute cruise across Mannipouri Lake with amazing views in every direction.Arriving at Manapouri Power Station we were ushered onto another coach which took us on a 40 minute drive over the Wilmot Pass (2200 m high)and down into Deep Cove. Here another boat took us slowly into Doubtful Sound and eventually out into the Tasman Sea. Another experience of the awesome glorious beauty that God has given us to enjoy.
