Mirror Lakes

The Milford Highway leads into the spectacular Milford Sound. Severe rainfall two weeks ago when a months rain fell in 24 hours caused a major landslide closing the road for the foreseeable future. We drove as far as possible (over 40 miles) stopping at Mirror Lakes where the massive Earl Mountain can sometimes be reflected in the lakes. Stunning as ever.
