Splash Of Colour

This is the local primary school Poppy Garden, a splash of colour on a grey February day.
I don’t often use this route, Sunny Lane, unless I am heading to the doctors surgery, a rare occurrence, or taking Gussie for a walk.
Still bitterly cold and probably a sign that I am getting older I feel it more.
As a result I have surprisingly found myself with a beard, possibly due to not wanting to stand in front of the bathroom mirror with just a towel round my waist!!
