Exciting day!!!

Our first ever sighting of an Australasian Crested Grebe feeding three juveniles, my goodness those little ones could squawk! Mum and I stood on the bank and watched in awe as the parent dived and brought up weed and fish for the young ones. One was particularly greedy and harassed the parent so much it got pecked a few times.

It was one of those moments that could be here today and gone the next. Just had to be my blip regardless of quality, it's something we both will remember.

Thursday......a hectic day, mum had an eye appointment with her specialist and needed another injection, she's getting used to them now. We enjoyed time together being 'out and about' on a relatively calm, pleasant kind of day, 25C
