Leaving The Snow Behind

We left Airdrie this morning, about 9 o'clock and arrived home at 12.30. 
Everywhere was white until we got past Moffat where it was patchy. It was blue skies and green grass as we approached the Dales and between Settle and Long Preston the fields were flooded.

After a noisy, fun filled few days it was nice to have peace and quiet in the car. I'll be up there in March to child mind again.

Now it's back to thinking about the garden again and getting it all sorted out. Frank phoned a fencing company and they are coming to give us a quote.

Back to the boat tomorrow. We planned to go on a nice walk to Long Preston and back with Bella but I've left my hiking boots and my wellies on the boat so we'll set off from Skipton instead.
