Inauguration Day aka "Take your son back to college day" today.

I was a bit worried we might hit traffic on I270 or the Beltway, but nothing. Never seen the roads so deserted. Left home at 10am, drove to College Park, moved the boy in, signed the lease guarantee, headed back, stopped off for lunch and was back home by 1pm. That has to be a record.

I guess everyone heeded the advice and took metro.
