Charlotte Square
It was a bit damp this morning so we decided to go to the Georgian House that is on the north side of Charlotte Square. It’s one of a row designed by Robert Adam and built at the end of the 18th century. The first owner was Jon Lamont who paid £1800 for it in 1796. That’s about £2 million in today’s terms, so a lot of money. It’s been restored to that period and is a really good place to visit. The blip is the view from the second floor over Charlotte Square with the Castle in the background.
