Lurid Sunset
I went for a walk into town late afternoon to get some fruit juice from Sainsbury’s at the end of Rose Street. The thaw had taken control so the pavements were a mix of clear, dirty slush and icy stretches so it was far from pleasant. I like the cold and powder snow and the transition to nothing is always horrible. It was dull and dry all day but at 17:20 there was a break in the clouds to the west and the light turned really odd with a sort of lurid orange tinge to everything. The blip is looking along Princes Street to the west. The extra is a snow model created by S, with wet snow taken off the car, of a familiar hill in Scotland. Any ideas?
Best on black.
I am gradually catching up with my other blip journal, Abstract Fiesta. I am still at February 4 now.
