This is the fountain on Falmouth's ‘Moor’, the roofed fountain was originally located inside the towns market place but was moved in 1812 and sadly in its current position has become a large rubbish bin and empty drinks receptacle.
In the summer following its ‘spring’ clean it looks better and a bit more impressive.

Today was Thursday Gang day at the rugby club, the weathers pretty rubbish with the promise of worse to come. Fortunately we have two away matches on Saturday so the pitch will have a little longer to recover.
Given the weather forecast I doubt there will be much rugby played this weekend.
