What's left of the greenhouse!

It's been a rather eventful day here!  All centred around me deciding to go into town to have a haircut!!!   well actually it was a recut!   i had my hair cut  about a week ago and didn't like what i'd asked for!!!   Anyway, lots of scurrying around to get out, clean of car etc., and head into town, with a few other chores to attend to.   Dead Battery!!!!   Got that sorted and off i went....left the car running for the half hour i was in with Tanis...felt a wee bit guilty, but not guilty enough to chance it!!!   Then into town, feeling confident that the battery is probably ok now....turned it off and into the library!   Dead Battery!!!!   Luckily Lynne and Ivor, in their massive rented vehicle were at the Bean There, so i tracked them down, we had cables in the car, so once again we got it going!   finished the chores and back home!   Terry decided he had to go get a new one...we've got our fingers crossed that he has managed to get a replacement and will come home and install it!!

Very cold overnight...-16 and maybe lower.....but it has been bright an sunny, just had a walk and it's only -9 right now!!!

A quiet last evening of Lynne's visit...they head off back to Toronto tomorrow.   We've had a very fun time, and they have had quite an interesting experience in this little village during the winter!!!
