A Terrific Day!

Terry and i headed over to Margaree - it was so sunny and bright - we had a fabulous lunch at the Dancing Goat, then onto some ice explorations!   Drove down little roads that lead to the beach...the pack ice is pretty spectacular at this time of year.   (see extras)

Then more explorations, took a few hours to just wander here and there, down roads that looked like they might lead to a beach!  (see extras)

Then onto Inverness, to a beach we know well!   We of course had our ritual of wine, cheese and crackers (i actually had a beer), and the vista was pretty stunning, albeit a bit monochromatic!   It was grey and we hadn't seen any sunshine for quite a while!   But then things began to get a bit dramatic!   So for the next 20-30 minutes i hopped out of the car and took a few images, then back in the car for some warmth, as the sun began to sink and we could see the light and colours changing moment by moment!  It is always so astonishing to see how much the light changes at this stage of the day.  After about 60 shots we decided the show was probably over, and so meandered our way back home!

What a great day we had.
