Running Through

This morning we took our visitors up the hill for a stroll.  Yesterday they had biked 42 k on the twisty road to French Pass.  Even with their e-bikes they felt like a gentle day today.  This woman was running down the trail and we met her again further along and she was walking up the steep part.  It wasn't too hot for a run.  The hill is drying out but rain is in the forecast.
In the evening we went to Opera in the Park in Nelson.  It was $15 each.  I think that is amazing to see the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra accompany three opera singers.  There was also Tammy Neilson who is a hoot.  The Nelson brass Band is also fab.
