Windy and wild

Despite the dreadful weather predictions Martin and I decided to make the journey to Oxford with Jess, to take James out for lunch.

There was a lot of water on the roads but no actual rain,  until about halfway into the journey and when we had to take the dog for a walk.  Thank goodness for the doggie-bag (see extra) which meant the dog was dry and de-muddied enough to go to the pub later...

Great to catch up with our eldest son and hear about friends, Trip Advisor and holiday plans.
