Snowy walk over the Water of Leith

It was more temptation than my young companion could resist. To drop a snowball from this bridge. I made sure it was heading towards the water, but it mostly just dispersed as it fell (not a seasoned snowball-maker, our son).

Lovely day. Wander over to the opticians. Eye test. Varifocal time. Then out to have dinner with friends. 11 of us - 6 adults, 5 kids. Good to catch up.
