Watching

This is a normal breakfast scenario – a squirrel hanging down the feeder, a pigeon on the poppy feeder staring in the window and Juno observing the whole scene, sometimes making monkey noises. This scene would have had an improved star character moments before as the jay was in the pigeon's place.

Apart from a brief windy blast early in the morning and some rain early afternoon, it's calmed down a great deal. Juno's windowsill cushions have gone back to their place now it's stopped raining inside the window.

It's quiet at work as it's half-term and the bosses are all away. Whoo! People seem more relaxed, which is nice. We had some serious schedule discussions (not so relaxing) – we're doing our best but there are not enough hours (or people) in the day. We'll see what happens.

I met up with some of the Kingfisher crew this evening and it was lovely to catch up over crisp dinner. The Retro bar has Quavers and Monster Munch – a top dinner compared to the usual pub crisp fare.
