Tiny curry flowers and berries
People in our neighbourhood do frequent acts of kindness. One is that we share our produce. Anything growing in our front yards is there for anyone to take, whatever they need. We have tomatoes, mint and basil. Someone else has a curry tree. Nothing like some fresh curry leaves to grace a curry.
Today I helped myself to the neighbour's curry tree - a few leaves, flowers and berries. All the while tho', I thought their plant was an elder. It had the little white flowers and the berries ripening in the late summer, right on cue. Why did I want it to be an elder? Because the elderflower is a symbol of kindness.
No matter, there is kindness all around.
