Shapes in the cycad cone

Barely had a moment to myself today, between cooking for the young ones, trying new and different recipes, watching the women's Australian Open tennis. I would have had more time for blipping if I'd known the young ones were going to turn up late. I'd like to have done more with the abstract Thursday shapes theme but sometimes things just intervene.
