Lost love

Found this beside my parking area at work this morning.  I wonder if the pencil was the Valentine's Day gift and if it was broken when it was given.  Better a broken pencil than a broken heart I guess.

Another Monday come and gone.  A fairly interesting one that also brought a complaint from a young man we had placed with a very reputable company.  

It seems one of their seniors has some anger management issues as he decided to beat the youngster when he found him on his phone instead of working.  

I believe his days are numbered at said company.  He deserves nothing less but we are also encouraging the young man in question to lay criminal charges.  

What decade are we living in that anyone thinks this is okay?
