Back on the road
Not such a long journey today but an interesting one.
As we left our cottage we were surprised to see a magnificent giraffe strolling past us on its way to a watering hole. That was an unexpected bonus. Our sunrise and said giraffe are in as extras.
The area around the Falls is full of grape and citrus growers so a visit to a vineyard seemed like a good plan, and the wine was so good we bought two boxes.
Further down the road we past this truck loaded with grapes that were to be spread out in the sun until they became raisins.
Masses of yellow flowers have appeared and I had to include a pic of a sociable weaver nest for I&S, not as big as those in the Kgalagadi but still pretty impressive for wee birds.
Further down the road we came across a traditional donkey cart on its way into town.
And tonight we are back in Kathu before the last stretch homeward bound.
This has been a really great trip.
